Dierk was founder and CEO of Rohstoffallianz, a unique organization of 14 major German industrial groups bundling their interests in resource supply markets. In this position he gained broad experience in understanding and aligning the needs of technology driven industrial companies with the challenges and long lead-times of upstream companies in the natural resource market.

Dierk can draw on more than 20 years of experience in senior management positions in various industrial sectors. Assignments include Executive Board positions with EON and Rohstoffallianz.
His professional career includes securing raw material strategies for the major industrial shareholders of the Resource Alliance, such as BMW, Volkswagen, BASF and ThyssenKrupp, and portfolio management of international mining projects at RWE Power. He has also been serving as CEO of the biggest German mining consulting company DMT-IMC. Furthermore, he worked as a senior mining engineer in opencast mining and underground projects and as R&D manager for operational mining technology.
The international business experience of Elbert covers a manifold of major global projects. During his career track, he was able to make and intensify valuable executive level contacts to worldwide industrial, financial and governmental institutions. His management experience ranges from raw material project development to material supply brokerage to hi-tech producers and make him a highly qualified and wanted expert in his field.
